Celebrate the 19th – August 2018

City Council candidates Erin Edwards, City of Riverside Ward 1 (left) and Jacque Casillas, City of Corona District 1 (right) greet attendees. Edwards held 42% of the vote in the primary election June 2019 and will be in a run-off in November 2019. Casillas won her election in November 2018 with 44% of the vote and is currently serving a four-year term.

Patricia Lock Dawson emceed the inaugural event. Lock Dawson was elected to the Riverside Unified School District Board of Trustees in 2011 and re-appointed to California Board of Behavioral Sciences under Governor Jerry Brown in 2013.
